Back In Motion Clayton Providers of Physiotherapy and related services: Clinical Exercise, Massage, Personal Training, Hydr

For over 10 years, the Back In Motion Health Group has been providing Australians with physiotherapy and related services. Like most great stories the growth from humble beginnings to a budding group of hard working, devoted and caring physiotherapists rose from an unwavering vision. To offer a physiotherapy service of the highest quality with a strong philosophy of care that would seek to provide

lasting results for those sick of endless quick fixes. We provide a holistic solution that enables clients to get what they want out of physiotherapy, perhaps getting back to sport, back to work, back to living, or just doing what they loved but were unable to do. By utilising the benefits of a broader range of clinical methods including clinical Pilates, massage, dry needling, and hydrotherapy and more all under the expert guidance of a physiotherapist, Back In Motion has been able to give its clients not only a great experience, but also the outcome they wanted.

For people living with migraine, the impacts can vary from person to person. There are a variety of treatment options available. Physiotherapy can be a useful management option for some people with migraine.
Everyone experiences migraine differently. A physiotherapist will listen, assess and work collaboratively with you to structure an individualised management plan. This may include detailed advice and education related to your migraine, hands on treatment and exercise therapy.
Understanding migraines and recognising what aggravates and relieves them can be an important step toward managing this condition.

Rolled your ankle… and it’s still swollen or stiff?
“Is it just a sprain?”
Most are lateral ligament sprains. Even mild ones can take time if not managed well.
“Should I rest it completely?”
Not usually. Guided movement and loading are often important parts of recovery.
“Why is it still swollen?”
This can happen when movement, strength, or balance haven’t fully returned.
“When can I go back to sport or gym?”
It depends on pain, strength, balance, and hopping control — not just time passed.
“How do I stop it happening again?”
Balance, calf strength, and ankle control are commonly addressed in rehab.
A structured, exercise-based program can help guide this process.

Unsure what your knee or ankle pain actually means?

It’s common to receive different opinions, confusing scan results, or feel unsure about what your diagnosis means for exercise, sport, or daily activity.

A big part of physiotherapy is understanding:
• what may be contributing to your symptoms
• what movements are safe to continue
• and how to rebuild strength and confidence with the right rehabilitation plan

Tristan focuses on clear explanations and practical, exercise-based rehab to help you better understand your condition and make informed decisions about movement and recovery.

If you would like guidance with a knee or ankle concern, appointments with Tristan can be booked through our reception team on 9544 8815.

Why Do Ankle & Knee Injuries Keep Coming Back?

Recurrent ankle sprains and knee flare-ups are common when the area hasn’t fully rebuilt strength, balance, and joint control after the first injury.

Pain settling does not always mean the joint is ready to tolerate load, movement, and sport again.

Research shows that exercise-based rehabilitation can reduce the risk of re-injury by improving how the joint manages strength demands and movement quality.

If your injury keeps returning, it may not be a “bad joint” — it may be an under-rehabilitated one.

You can book an assessment with Tristan to discuss a structured rehabilitation approach tailored to your needs.
