From Monday 27th July 2026 we welcome
Dr Sushank Paliwal will be joining Pivotal Health as part of his General Practice training.

Sushank grew up in Canberra, where he also completed his schooling, before going on to achieve his medical degree at Bond University in 2023.

During his training and since graduating, Sushank has gained broad clinical experience across a wide range of hospital settings. His rotations have included Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Paediatric Emergency, Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, Renal Medicine, Anaesthetics, Orthopaedic Surgery, and rural placements. This diverse background has provided him with a strong clinical foundation and the confidence to assess and manage patients across all age groups.

Sushank is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centred care, with a strong focus on preventative health. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal injuries, mental health (particularly anxiety and depression), chronic disease management, and emergency medicine.

Outside of medicine, Sushank enjoys staying active through fitness and yoga, travelling, and creative filmmaking. Most recently, he has obtained his skydiving licence—an exciting achievement that reflects his enthusiasm for challenging himself and pursuing new experiences.

A bit of a sad day today at Pivotal as Dr Adrian finished up to start his 12 month adventure in Darwin.

To say he will be missed is an understatement but we wish him all the very best for the next year. We made sure he was ready for his road trip with a care package filled with the essentials. Lollies, toilet seat covers and Uno to name a few items.

Just so he doesn’t forget his Pivotal family a new artwork for his Darwin consult room. 🤣

On this day in 2007, Pivotal Health opened its doors with a vision of providing personalised, professional GP care to the Redlands community.

While some of our foundation doctors had been caring for local families for many years, the establishment of Pivotal Health marked the beginning of a new chapter in healthcare for our patients and our community.

Today, we take a moment to reflect on all that has been achieved over the past 19 years and the many changes we have witnessed within both our practice and the healthcare landscape. From the days of inkjet printers, paper records and handwritten appointment books to online bookings, electronic records and Telehealth consultations, we have continually evolved to meet the changing needs of our patients.

Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without the support, loyalty and trust of our patients. We are incredibly grateful to have been entrusted with the care of generations of local families and thank you for allowing us to be part of your healthcare journey.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing to provide high-quality, compassionate care to the Redlands community for many years to come.
