Hi 👋 if you’re new here, welcome to Glowmed. I thought I’d do a quick reintro as I’ve been a little slack on my socials lately, and have received a lot of new followers and seen new faces in clinic!
Firstly, thank you for being here & supporting my small business! Every like, share and message never goes unnoticed 🫶🏽
I am a registered nurse of 4 years, currently working in the acute sector in admissions & recovery day procedure. I am a mum of 3 beautiful children with baby #4 on the way! 👶 🤰
You will find me treating patients, from Clyde or Somerville, both home clinics in a very relaxed environment 🤍 (sometimes with a child or two in tow 🥲).
My journey into aesthetics was never planned or a long term goal of mine. It was always something that intrigued my creative side, however never something that I aspired to be initially. I fell into this role through a friend/colleague in the industry who saw the potential I had to create something magical ✨ and after that conversation, sparked action! Once I made the decision to upskill and complete my course in aesthetic medicine, everything fell into place quite quickly & to be honest, I have never looked back. This business allows me to do it all. Be a present mum, create an income, stay home when I need to be, and also build a future for our family - one client at a time 💉

My motto is that the best results are achieved through consistency. Less is always, more. A consistent skincare routine, microneedling and a little sprinkle (of something I can’t say) every few months is key 👌

I adore my clients. They feel like friends and I’m sure everyone of you feels that when you walk through my door. No topic of conversation is out of bounds and let’s be honest, most of the time its just a good old catch up therapy session ❤️

Gentle reminder for your Saturday: it’s my Saturday too.
If you choose to make an appointment, not follow through with appointment and decide to not turn up, but also not contact the business owner and confirm with them you are not attending.. this goes to you.
I am sick of the no shows. It doesn’t happen often but when it does, it’s a kick in the guts. A small business owner relies on these bookings to keep their business running! 3 this fortnight. 3 times that I have organised care for my kids, set up my home clinic in preparation for clients, PRE PURCHASED STOCK, put aside plans to dedicate hours to my clients, all to sit here and wait…. For a no show 🤩
I am pretty easy going, life happens and I am flexible around these things.. but please consider the level of frustration this brings when I do not charge a booking fee or deposit and have a life to organise.
Not to mention that availability could have been given to someone else.

I do not suit being a negative Nancy 🥺but I feel it’s important to share the highs and lows of running a small business owner! It ain’t all sunshine and rainbows 🌈 around here.

Hey all 🫶🏽 it’s me.. still here, juggling the rollercoaster of mum life, business, work and everything in between!
Sometimes I forget to show up on socials as much as I can, it honestly doesn’t come easy for me, and is always a last resort 🥹 but I am trying to change that; and I will try to share more of my days and business with you all as much as I can.

- Somerville clinic is booking up nicely. I am only there once a fortnight so please ensure you book in advance for this location.

- Lots of training days coming up, which I will need models for. My regular clients will always get first opportunity but please reach out via DM if this is something you’re interested in and I can keep you in mind.

- Availability at Clyde is going to be adjusted soon. Please check timely bookings for my updated availability.
