In the Celtic tradition, there is a beautiful understanding of love and friendship. One of the fascinating ideas here is the idea of soul-love; the old Gaelic term for this is anam cara. Anam is the Gaelic word for soul and cara is the word for friend. So anam cara in the Celtic world was the "soul friend."

In everyone's life, there is a great need for an anam cara, a soul friend. In this love, you are understood as you are without mask or pretension. The superficial and functional lies and half-truths of social acquaintance fall away, you can be as you really are. Love allows understanding to dawn, and understanding is precious. Where you are understood, you are at home.

The anam cara experience opens a friendship that is not wounded or limited by separation or distance. Such friendship can remain alive even when the friends live far away from each other. Because they have broken through the barriers of persona and egoism to the soul level, the unity of their souls is not easily severed. When the soul is awakened, physical space is transfigured. Even across the distance, two friends can stay attuned to each other and continue to sense the flow of each other's lives. With your anam cara you awaken the eternal.

Self-love is not just about constantly giving yourself praise and telling yourself how awesome you are.
It’s about loving the real you, the human you—the person who has feet of clay, who comes undone under criticism, who sometimes fails and disappoints others.
It’s about making a commitment to yourself that you will stick by yourself—even if no one else does!
That’s what I mean when I say you must love yourself as though your life depends on it, because quite simply, I know without a doubt that it does!

HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS

First of all, I am soooo over the moon to have seen a lot of you again! It's good to be able to connect again and support your wellbeing goals 🙌

Just a quick reminder on what is happening with the opening hours from now, up until December.

The treatment room is currently open on weekdays 10am-8pm and Saturdays 10am- 3pm.

Although I am usually booked out 2-3 weeks ahead in holiday season, there are still few spots left.

🌷Should you need to get those aches and pains away or simply relax with sounds of nature, while balancing and healing, shoot me a message or a text ASAP, as spots are filling up fast.

The last working day in December will be Tuesday the 21st :)

I was going to take a really artistic and entrepreneuristic photo of me and the lavender with done up hair swaying in the wind but naaaah..since I prefer being me, I'll just be 100% myself and you get me sniffing nearly eating the flowers 😂😂😂

💜 I use lavender in nearly all of my hand made from scratch body and wellbeing products - aromatherapy roll-ons, body oils, magnesium salts, facial steams, sugar scrubs, soap balls, magnesium rubs, after shave soothes etc.

💜 This freshly picked lavender is just what was needed, the colors are amazing! So are its healing properties, although it is one of the most common oils to use.

💜 Lavender soothes and calms the skin, reduces redness, balances oil production, heals blemishes, and stimulates circulation for improved skin tone.

💜 Lavender aids depression, insomnia, mood swings, and stress. It clears your thinking, reduces worry, and balances emotions.

The partial eclipse will be visible in Melbourne will begin at 8.09pm tonight, hitting its maximum at 8.12pm and ending at 11.03pm, giving it an expected duration of 2 hours and 54 minutes.

If the entire moon travels through the shadow, it is a total lunar eclipse. Tonight’s eclipse won’t quite make it to totality and instead will be a very deep partial eclipse.

he Full Moon in Ta**us officially kicks off eclipse season on November 19 and it’s signaling for deep transformation. It is the first of two eclipses over the next 30 days, and if you let it, it will help you discover deeper clarity, understanding and inner contentment.

Approximately every six months, we witness two to three eclipses in the heavens. We see at least one eclipse of the Sun, with the moon blocking his light (a Solar or Full Moon Eclipse) and one eclipse of the Moon, with the earth’s shadow blocking her light (a Lunar or New Moon Eclipse). Throughout history, eclipses represented times of sweeping change, and were sometimes feared by our ancestors.

Eclipses aren’t here to ruin your life. They are here to help you identify the ways in which you can better navigate towards your dreams. They bring new energy and people into your life that better align with who you are in that moment, and help you let go of those who no longer resonate with you. Eclipses help you see where change is needed and give you the boost you need to finally make that change. It is only when we have resistance to that energy that we suffer.

All signs will feel this eclipse in some regard or another, with Ta**us, Leo, Aquarius and Scorpio feeling it the most intensely. Be sure to find ways to burn off any excess or built-up energy you may have. Smudge your space, take a ritual bath or even just do some serious journaling. And most importantly, remember to give yourself love and grace.

Be gentle out there, beauties. Let the chips fall where they may and trust that you’re right where you’re supposed to be ♥
