What is NMN?

NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is a compound your body naturally makes from vitamin B3-related molecules. Its main claim to fame is that it’s a precursor to NAD⁺ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), a molecule cells need for energy metabolism, DNA repair, and many enzyme reactions.

Studies suggest it may improve:
•Insulin sensitivity/metabolic health, particularly in people with impaired glucose metabolism.
•Physical performance or fatigue, with a few trials finding modest improvements in measures such as walking capacity or aerobic performance.
•Some age-associated physiological measures, although findings aren’t consistent enough yet to conclude that NMN meaningfully slows ageing.
