Did you know that 12th June is Philippine Independence Day?

To celebrate, our team enjoyed a delicious Filipino-inspired luncheon lovingly prepared by our Catering Manager, Phil, who can be spotted second from the left in the photo.

A huge thank you to Phil and all of our wonderful Filipino team members who help make The Shoreline such a caring, welcoming and vibrant community every day. We are so grateful for everything you do and for the rich culture, warmth and kindness you bring to our Shoreline family.

Positive feedback from the Head teacher Careers / The Educational Pathways Program, thanks David!

"Thanks for your time and enthusiasm showing the students from Coffs Harbour & Toormina HS through The Shoreline facility on Wednesday.
The students had a positive response to the day and have now a clearer understanding of the industry, pathways and the roles/careers at Shoreline. We start the day with only one student thinking they would pursue a career in 'aged care' to now having over half of them thinking it would be a great career pathway. Several students now are considering undertaking their 'work experience' in an aged care facility!"

A positive experience for the students and fantastic reflection on all of us here at The Shoreline!

Good food, great company and plenty of laughter made for a memorable evening. It's just one of the many social events and experiences our residents can enjoy as part of life at The Shoreline.

It’s Exercise Right Week!

To celebrate, our wonderful Exercise Physiologist Alex spoke about the importance of continuing to exercise as we age — and how the “right” way to exercise looks different for everybody.

It was a privilege to welcome NV College to The Shoreline today, along with students from Toormina and Jetty High Schools, as they explored what a future career in health and aged care could look like.

Who better than the wonderful Miss Lucy to show them around and give them insight into how we make retirement living so special here at The Shoreline!

We loved sharing our community, our values and the many rewarding career pathways within the health industry.

Our gorgeous Coffs Harbour CWA ladies!

These wonderful women return each year to The Shoreline to bring us Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser, bringing with them warmth, friendship, laughter and an incredible community spirit.

We are so grateful for the dedication toward organising this event, The funds raised for The Cancer Council and of course your ongoing support, generosity and the joy you bring to The Shoreline each and every year.

A huge thank you to Woolgoolga High School and NV College for allowing Barry & Fiona to join us during Bone Health Month.

Together we’ve been raising awareness around bone health, osteoporosis, and medications that can help support healthy ageing.

And a special shout-out to the wonderful Lucy for always making education engaging, interactive and fun here at The Shoreline: she's the one with the big smile!
