💛 WORLD SU***DE PREVENTION DAY | 10 SEPTEMBER 💛
Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.
This year, we’re focusing on theme of Changing the Narrative on Su***de — challenging stigma, encouraging open and honest conversations, and creating communities where people feel safe to speak up and ask for help.
Changing the narrative starts with all of us.
It can be as simple as checking in with someone. Listening without judgement. Making space for a conversation. Reminding people that support is available. And talking about su***de prevention in a way that builds hope, connection and understanding.
At Condobolin Aboriginal Health Service, we know that strong social and emotional wellbeing comes from connection — to family, community, culture and each other. 🖤💛❤️
This Monday, we’re bringing our community together for Mental Health Matters – Every Step Matters at Gum Bend Lake.
