Hayden decided that it was a good day for a Zoo visit. The weather was perfect for wander around. The animals were completely chilled!
We couldn't find Sebastian, the friendly bird in the aviary, but after looking for quite a while discovered him outside wandering around in the garden beds. The Zoo keeper caught him and transferred him to another aviary because he supposedly is being a bit bossy in the big one!
I can't pass up buying the cafes cinnamon so it's especially on a winter day!

Amelia had a big long weekend so we took it easy.

Digger and her are creating a bond. Amelia invites him up on her lap for pats. When she arrives he won't stop making excited noises because he is so happy to see her!

Then Amelia decided to do some craft and made suncatchers for the garden.

Individual 1:1 support means following the participants interest and pacing the day to suit how they are feeling. It's also about making choices that are all about them.

Amelia makes choices she finds safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Like sitting in the recliner chair, shoes off and patchwork quilt on her lap, doing activities with Bluey running on the TV in the background with the dogs sleeping at her feet.

Saying this Amelia loves being with others, but also some downtime.

Delightful morning at Wagga Botanical Gardens with Hayden

We ran into one of Amelia's friends when buying her morning tea and had a lovely chat with her, then we headed off to the library and created some Easter 🐣🐇 craft.
Amelia was quite tired after being so creative, so she finished off with some colouring in before we went and bought her lunch.

Amelia and I were blown away by the magnificent glass sculptures at the Light Trap exhibition at the Museum of the Riverina in Baylis St.
