If you’re preparing for IVF, the biggest mistake is thinking the embryo is the *only* piece of the puzzle.

this client’s case, her doctors had identified significant scar tissue within the uterine cavity after multiple miscarriages and IVF attempts.

Before her final transfer, the focus was on supporting her overall health alongside the treatment.

If you’re on your own fertility journey, these are conversations worth having with your practitioners:

• Has the health of the uterine cavity been properly assessed?
• Are there underlying factors affecting implantation that still need investigation?
• Are your nutrient levels being monitored appropriately?
• Are your medical and complementary practitioners communicating with each other?
• Is anything you’re taking actually appropriate for *your* situation and medications?

There is no universal fertility protocol, and more supplements does not automatically mean better.

The goal should be personalised support, proper investigation and working alongside your fertility team.

Save this for your next appointment, or send it to someone currently navigating IVF. 🤍

A star rating on a food product that you buy in a supermarket does not equate to ‘good health’ in anyway x

As a qualified naturopath i encourage my clients to look beyond this and read the ingredient list! the health star rating is a govt standard from an algorithm calculator that does not tell you the whole story about the quality of the ingredients, how processed a food is, additives, sweeteners or even preservatives x

My tip is to turn the packet over - look at what’s actually in the food rather than relying on the pretty health marketing x

whole, unprocessed foods do not need a star rating to prove their nutritional value ♥️

If you keep taking magnesium but never seem to feel like you’re getting enough… there could be more going on. 👀

Your genes aren’t always the whole story. How they’re supported matters too. 🧬

Save this if you’re interested in hormones, methylation and understanding your body on a deeper level.

Do you take magnesium every day?

You can eat well. Exercise. Take the supplements. Do all the “right” things. And still wake up one day thinking… why do I...

You can eat well. Exercise. Take the supplements. Do all the “right” things.

And still wake up one day thinking… why do I suddenly feel so unlike myself?

The energy is different.
Your sleep is different.
Your mood is different.
Your body feels different.

Then you finally work up the courage to bring it up, only to hear that everything looks “normal.”

And maybe it is on paper.

But you’re the one living in your body every single day. You know when something isn’t right.

Getting older doesn’t mean you suddenly have to accept feeling exhausted, foggy, flat, uncomfortable or completely out of sorts as your new normal.

You deserve to feel heard. And you deserve more than “you’re fine” when you know you don’t feel fine. ❤️

If you’re getting enough sleep but still waking up exhausted…

your energy may be about more than just sleep. 😴

Sometimes the missing piece isn’t “trying harder” to get more energy. It’s understanding what’s happening underneath it.

Save this for the next time you’re wondering why you feel so drained. 🤍

Are you more tired when you wake up, around 3pm, or all day?

Proteins value goes far beyond what most people think, did you know this? xx

Doing everything “right” but still struggling with low progesterone?

Your body can’t make progesterone out of thin air.

It needs cholesterol, along with nutrients such as magnesium, zinc, vitamin B6 and vitamin C.

That’s why foods like eggs, quality red meat, oily fish, spinach and pumpkin seeds can be so important.

But there’s another piece women often overlook: stress.

When your body is constantly under pressure, it prioritises the production of stress hormones such as cortisol. That can leave fewer of those same building blocks available for progesterone.

Sometimes the answer isn’t another supplement.

It may be eating enough, including healthy fats and helping your body feel safe enough to come out of survival mode.

Save this if you’ve been trying to support your progesterone naturally.

Can you take NAC and calcium-D-glucarate together?

Yes.

But that doesn’t mean every woman needs both.

NAC helps your body produce glutathione, one of its major antioxidants, and supports the liver pathways involved in processing unwanted compounds and hormones.

Calcium-D-glucarate works differently. It may support the removal of excess oestrogen through the liver and gut.

The important part?

More supplements aren’t always better.

When your oestrogen clearance and gut pathways are already functioning well, adding calcium-D-glucarate may not be necessary.

Your supplements should be chosen based on what your body actually needs, not simply because two ingredients are commonly recommended together.

Save this before adding both to your routine.

Do red meat and dairy increase oestrogen?

Not automatically.

What matters is the quality, the amount you’re eating and the rest of your diet.

Choosing quality, organic or grass-fed red meat and dairy and eating them in moderation is very different from consuming large amounts of highly processed foods.

And remember, oestrogen doesn’t work alone.

Progesterone and oestrogen help keep one another in balance, and cholesterol is one of the building blocks your body uses to produce progesterone.

That means removing every cholesterol containing food isn’t necessarily the answer.

Instead of fearing individual foods, look at the bigger picture: food quality, portion size, hormone clearance, stress and your overall health.

Have you ever been told to completely avoid red meat or dairy because of your hormones?

Honestly a drink every now again is not gonna hurt you, I understand girl 😜

The problem is when it becomes a daily habit, I understand it can relax you but you are trading it for tomorrow’s energy ❤️
