Diabetes is a health condition where there is too much glucose (sugar) in your blood.
Diabetes happens when:
π your pancreas can't make enough insulin
π your body does not respond properly to insulin
π Common symptoms to look out for are:
- being very thirsty (or hungry)
- urinating more often than usual
- feeling tired
- weight loss (type 1 diabetes), or gradual weight gain (type 2 diabetes)
- having wounds that heal slowly
- frequent infections, including UTI's
- blurred vision
