CARD FOR THE WEEK: 27 SEP - 03 OCT 2026

10 of Swords

Hi everyone!

Key words are:
Painful endings, betrayal, rock bottom, defeat, lack of support and back injuries. Recovery, regeneration, resilience,the worst is over, rising above and every cloud has a silver lining.

This week’s card is an interesting follow-on to last week… Though it was only a month ago this popped up; there are some subtle changes to this card’s energy for this week. You may feel like support has been withdrawn after dealing with someone in the past week; OR that person has already shown you the silver lining to pursue as someone withdraws from you this week.

I really do get a sense that this week is more about letting go of those who have stabbed you in the back and looking towards the better days of removing yourself from those who bring you down, rather than the struggle of dealing with them… More a finalising week than a contemplation week

Keep your eyes peeled this week, because despite the things that are weighing you down - there are better things coming from it!

I will always say this with this card…. When it comes to our health, it is the week for back injuries, so please take care with everything you do!

The 10 of swords is asking you to just remember that every dark cloud has a silver lining, so despite the difficulties, keep looking for the opportunities to grow from wherever you find yourself.

Personally 10 of Swords is telling me that it’s time to get the finalising done.

CARD FOR THE WEEK: 20-26 SEP 2026

King of Cups

Hi everyone!

Key words are: Emotional maturity/intelligence, compassion, diplomacy, a balanced mentor and unconditional love.
Withdrawn, manipulation, emotionally immature/low EQ, moody, overwhelmed and conditional love.

This week’s card could see you seeking out guidance from a wise, compassionate mentor, who will help you to see the balance and help take the steps toward whatever you want to achieve. Or it could be YOU that is sought out as the wise, compassionate mentor!

This week, many of us may find ourselves “levelling up” and finding that space of emotional balance. Or we are really struggling with our feelings and responding by withdrawing or setting overly harsh boundaries to either protect ourselves from the challenging time we find ourselves in, or to punish another party.

This card represents a person or energy that has learned to navigate the deepest depths of the subconscious and emotional worlds without getting swept away by the current. That said, the opposite can also be true and this needs to be worked on through reflection, sitting in the discomfort of making the change, seeking guidance from those who are in the compassionate space, and in some cases, therapy.

This week may expose those who are manipulating you or others to do their bidding and if you are that person, please take steps to learn the hurt you are causing others who only want the best for you. If you are putting conditions on how you love/respect a person based on what they are doing for you, perhaps ask yourself what you have done for them, and is it fairly balanced?

This card, to a degree, represents addiction (usually alcoholism), so a light may be shone on some with vices this week, and careful steps will need to be taken to address them.

The King of Cups is asking you to approach everything with balance, compassion and respect.

Personally, this card is reminding me that the position I find myself in doesn’t need a negative, emotional response.

Asany of you may know, recently, Rudi’s Place Esk advised our beloved community that they are closing down at the end of October. In the lead up to this, the beautiful Ruth O'Dowd made so much effort to find all of us who offered healing services there, another location to operate from. I am eternally grateful for the love and support from Ruth over the years to ensure our success. She loves the community and those of us who worked with her. I absolutely wish Ruth so much love and success in all of her new ventures! If anyone deserves it, it is Ruth!

CARD FOR THE WEEK: 23-29 AUG 2026

9 of Wands

Hi everyone!

Key words are:

Resilience, inner strength, defending boundaries, fatigue, endurance, readiness, energy protection, and refusing to give up.
Burnout, exhaustion, overwhelm, defensive, guarded, suspicious, paranoia, and past wounds affecting forward movement/trusting others.

This week’s card is about being tired but pushing through; knowing the goal is nearly in sight. Given the past two weeks have been quite transformational cards, it’s no surprise that this week, we are running out of steam a tad!

This week alone may be exhausting, because the changes you have made, may have created some attacks on those boundaries. It’s exhausting, but it is necessary to stand your ground, and not let the thoughts and actions of others affect your path… Defend your boundaries and protect your energy!

Trust can be an issue this week - if you want to move forward, what you cannot do is tar everyone with the same brush of distrust because of past experiences… I’m not suggesting you blindly trust everyone; but you will not get through this week unaffected if you treat everyone with defensiveness, distrust and paranoia. Use the past lessons to assess who can be at the table, rather than the “one in, all in” mentality. Paranoia speeds up burnout.

9 of Wands is asking you to hold the line. You are stronger than you think!

Personally, this card is reminding me that I’m just at the final push for my next stage.
