Our recent crafting session was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon during the school holidays! 🎨✨

13 grandkids joined our residents to spend the afternoon painting, stitching felt animals and creating bush gnomes from leaves, sticks and other treasures collected from around the village. The ever-popular diamond dot craft also made a return, with bookmarks, keyrings and fridge magnets keeping little hands busy.

It was fantastic to see so much creativity, imagination and fun shared across generations. Thank you to our social committee and to everyone who came along and helped make it such a fun day. 💚🌸

There's nothing quite like a long lunch with good company. Our latest monthly lunch outing had plenty of both. 🍴

Our residents recently enjoyed another wonderful lunch together at Harrigan's Cameron Park, making the most of the beautiful weather and catching up over a delicious meal.

As one resident put it, "Great day, great food, what more could you want?"
A big thank you to Robert for organising another fantastic outing and to Tony A for driving on the day.

It's always nice to get out together, try somewhere different and make an afternoon of it. 💚

For a few hours last week, Catalina had a soundtrack. Turns out it was Drumbala, not a mystery band down the road. 🥁

Residents came together for an interactive African drumming session, where they were picking up rhythms they'd never tried before, getting a few beats wrong, laughing about it and trying again anyway.

It was wonderful to see so many residents giving something new a go and sharing the experience together.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team from Drumbala for bringing such an uplifting afternoon to Catalina. Another big shout out to Helen, John Smyth and Gemma for organising another fantastic community event.

There's a lot that goes on behind the scenes to help Catalina run the way it should. 💚

Recently, two important annual maintenance programs were completed across the village.

❄️ Every one of our 153 homes received its annual air conditioning service, helping keep homes comfortable throughout the seasons.

🐜 Our annual termite inspections were also completed, helping protect the homes our residents love.

A huge thank you to Trent and Ethan from Tozer Air Conditioning & Electrical for all of their hard work throughout the servicing program.

A huge thank you as well to Troy, Ben, Luke, Drew, Liam and Steven from Termi Pro-Shield for all of their hard work, professionalism and friendly service.

They're the kinds of jobs that often go unnoticed and yet they play an important role in looking after every home in the village.

More than 50 residents turned up for Hot Food Night and not one of them left hungry.

With a fantastic variety of dishes to choose from, the food was certainly a highlight. However, as always, it was the opportunity to catch up with friends and enjoy each other's company that made the evening so special.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it another wonderful community event. Special thanks also to Ian and Isabel for looking after the bar throughout the evening.

By the end of the evening, the plates were empty but the conversations certainly weren't. 🍽

Happy birthday to all of our June birthday residents! 🎉

Our recent Birthday Lunch brought together around 80 residents and staff coming together to share a delicious meal, with lots to discuss and, of course, birthday cake.

Residents were celebrated in style, with a spread from Noo and the team, drinks courtesy of Ian and Lyn, kind words from Gemma and beautiful florals from Roslyn and Isabel.

One resident marking their 85th put it simply: "Thank you everyone for making my 85th so special." Another summed up the tradition perfectly: "The birthday lunches are well worth taking a visit to, such fun."

Happy birthday to every resident who has marked another year recently – may the cake always be this good! 🎂

When considering a move, one of the biggest concerns can be whether a much-loved companion can come too.

It's a question we hear regularly and one we completely understand. The thought of leaving a pet behind is difficult and, for some, simply isn't an option.

That's why being able to continue sharing everyday life with a beloved dog or cat is something many residents value. Whether it's a daily walk or an afternoon spent together on the couch, pets continue to bring companionship and comfort.
