💉COVID-19 vaccines join the National Immunisation Program

💉COVID-19 vaccines are now part of the NIP, with free vaccination available from 1 October 2026 for eligible people at higher risk of serious illness.

This includes:

🙏Adult aged 65 years and over
🙏Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years and over, and
🙏Adults aged 18 years and over with severe immunocompromise.

All other Adults can access the vaccine privately.

Unfortunately the private cost is over $100 per vaccine .
