The festival to celebrate the birth of the Sun.
It is the Winter Solstice, marking the longest night of the year and shortest day of the year.
The word Solstice means, “sun stands still” One of the Lesser Sabbats.
The winter solstice is a magical time of energetic reawakening, both symbolically in our lives, and literally, as from this day forward.
The days start to lengthen and things begin to grow again.
It is a time when the dark half of the year will start to recede, and the light half of the year is reborn.

The Theme of the Month of June is The Three of Wands

Number Three symbolise creation, growth, development, communication, expansion, regeneration, enthusiasm, fun, joy, playfulness, celebration, and emotional expression.

The Suit of Wands is Action and Energy.
Time: 2nd Decan of Aries. [Aries/Leo.] 31st March – 9th April.

Imagery:
Three Wands: Three Wands are secured in the ground. This shows what has already been accomplished. He holds one as he looks into the future across the water [emotions] to mountains [attainment]. The other two are behind him.
Water: He looks like he is in a dilemma to use his subconscious [water] to reach new goals or to figure out what his new goals are. Notice that the water is yellow like the Dead Sea.
Multi-coloured Cape: For all the balance and establishment. Green cloak on his left shoulder is the colour of growth. The left side is your intuitive side. Red is energy and desire, the black and the yellow checkerboard, he is protected against negativity in his search for enlightenment. The right arm is blue shirt sleeve [emotions] and the right is the aggressive, masculine side. He has integrated and exchanged these two. There is a yellow band on his head showing thoughts are intellectual.
Central Figure: Flat-footed stance suggests certainty and balance.

June is a time of growth, travel and expansion.
