A few months ago, I made some tough decisions to significantly change my clinical focus (aka reduce client work), and now I have something exciting to share 🙈

Over the past few months I’ve been noticeably absent on socials because I’ve been busy working away on some really exciting projects, and making space for this transition! And now I can share:

‼️ I have capacity for new supervisees and consultees from July, both individually and groups ‼️

The last time I was accepting referrals was around 12months ago, so I’m really excited to share this with you as my Wilde community, but I also know that these spaces won’t last. (And my newsletter have already had access to the first round of availability.)

So, if you’re a Social Worker, Psychologist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or allied health professional, looking for clinical supervision that’s deeply grounded in neuro-affirming and trauma-informed care, well, you’ve come to the right place 🙋🏼‍♀️

EMDR group consultation remaining dates for 2026 🌿

All the previous dates have booked out 🫣 📅

These small group consultations are a space to slow down, connect with EMDR therapists, share wisdom and experience, and deepen your EMDR practice.

These groups are designed for any EMDR therapist, new or experienced. They are also suitable for folks working towards accreditation, just let me know in the booking notes.

You’re welcome to bring along a question, or a client you’re feeling stuck with. Presentations specifically including complex trauma, dissociation, and compounding traumas are all welcome. If you want steadier conceptualisation, clearer targets, and ethical support in the messy middle of the work, come along 🥰

Each group offers
• 90 minutes of facilitated consultation
• A reflective, collaborative learning environment
• Space for case discussion, questions, and clinical nuance
• A focus on sustainability, safety, and relationship

Be honest…. You finished your EMDR training and thought, “great, Ive got another tool to work with trauma now.”

Until someone disclosed sexual violence, maybe even a lifetime of, and then you sat there, and watched your expensive EMDR skills literally evaporate infront of your very own eyes 🤣

Quickly flipping through the pages of your EMDR manual, thinking, “I should know what todo.” Abit like you had all the ingredients, but couldn’t find the recipe!

Or maybe for you it’s the other way around. You’ve worked with sexual abuse for years. This territory is familiar and comfortable. But now you’ve learnt EMDR, and you’re wondering how on earth it all fits together with complexity.

Spoiler 💥 I didn’t know 💥

Even when the pressure was mounting, and the working hours were continuing to rise, I didn’t know.

It was something I hadn’t allowed myself to consider.

Maybe I hoped that if I didn’t consider it, it wasn’t possible.
And when I finally entertained the thought, what showed up surprised me.

“Am I even a real therapist if I step back?” said the little voice inside. After all, I became a therapist to work alongside clients, not to train and support other therapists.

But the irony is that I LOVE supporting other therapists and allied health professionals. It feels so incredibly empowering to witness their growth, and I feel like my heart’s on fire, (and in a completely different but equally amazing way to client work.)

So, at 7PM at night, when the weight of the impending decision finally landed, I called my colleague/friend who I trust dearly, .bloomwellbeing and I asked for help.

I needed someone with objectivity to guide me through this decision.

I couldn’t find my way alone.

And then I landed.

I needed to wind down my client load. It was no longer possible to continue on in the way I had.

Now that I’m on the other side of this decision, I can feel just how important and significant it was. A death and rebirth to the next iteration of me as a therapist, as a supervisor, as a boss, as a leader and as a human.

So on this Friday night, as I sit and reflect on what feels like the 5million death and rebirths that have happened since this took place last month, I wanted to send a signal out there to my fellow therapists and say, I see you 💚

Last week it really landed for me, the immense and intense rapid change we undo as therapists, (both personally and professionally,) in relatively short spaces of time.

I had the privilege of providing support at .emdr’s EMDR training for the second time, and what struck me is that it’s almost ten years ago since I first completed my EMDR training.

I can recall feeling in awe of the Consultants that were supporting the practicums, and how new I felt to it all.

This full circle moment just filled me with gratitude for the immense privilege that it is, to support and guide EMDR therapists and supervisees generally.

So here I am, taking a moment to soak it all in 🥰

A huge thanks to .emdr for giving me this opportunity to grow an EMDR therapist and consultant.

More common than you think.
Less understood than it should be.

Dissociation is not rare.
It is not dramatic.

And it is not something only “specialist” therapists need to understand.

It is woven through complex trauma work.
