$101,000+ RAISED FOR THE VIRTUAL PSYCHOLOGIST 🤍

This year I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Rural Women Unite luncheon in Charters Towers for the first time in many years — and what an incredible day it was.

Sal Bradford and Jum Best are two incredible women who have been bringing women together through this luncheon for 8 years, and this year they raised an incredible $101,000+ for The Virtual Psychologist.

The Virtual Psychologist is an incredible free service providing access to professional psychological support for anyone who needs it. Whether you’re rural, remote or in the city, you can text, call or email and access support when you need it. It’s such an important service, especially for those who can find it difficult to access mental health support where they live. 🤍

The speakers were incredible. Warren Davies WarrenDavies , thank you for sharing your story and standing in front of 500 women with such honesty and courage.

And Gayle and Mac Shann — your story of resilience, grit and love is something I won’t forget. Gayle’s determination to continue living the life she loves in the bush, with her horses and stud cattle, is truly inspiring. She doesn’t let what happened to her stop her — she simply finds a way. 🤍

I also had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful ladies from Cowgirl Channel Podcast TONI LEIGH LAMB 🦋 (aka. Miss Lamb) BELLA HANSON , who MC’d the event and did an amazing job!

What a beautiful reminder of the power of women supporting women. 🫶🏼

August was an absolute whirlwind… but we’re not even close to winding down. 🌪️🤠

Between building Wellness & Style Collective, creating content, talking all things hair with you girls and trying to keep up with everything happening behind the scenes, August absolutely flew by.

But September?

We’re going bigger.

We have some exciting things coming to Wellness & Style Collective this month, including the introduction of some new products that I honestly cannot wait to get into your hands. 👀

We’re also heading to the Rural Women Unite Luncheon, which is something I’m incredibly excited about, and there are a few other things happening behind the scenes that have been keeping me very busy.

One thing I can tell you…

If you’ve ever struggled with bore water, hard water, product build-up, dull hair or hair that just never seems to feel properly clean…

You are going to want to keep an eye on what we’re launching next. 👀

September is going to be a big one.

And I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

For the women who don’t always have easy access to salons, professional recommendations or the right products.

And honestly, I have some BIG dreams for where this business is going. 👀

There are ideas in the pipeline that I would absolutely love to bring to life.

But right now?

I need your help.

I need Wellness & Style Collective to reach more of rural Australia.

I have some pretty big dreams for this little business. 🤎

What started as an idea to help rural women find the right haircare has already grown into something so much bigger than I imagined.

I see Wellness & Style Collective becoming a trusted place for rural and remote women.

Not just somewhere to buy products.

But somewhere to learn, ask questions and find recommendations that actually make sense for the lifestyle we live.

And who knows… maybe one day that won’t stop at haircare either. 👀

I’d love to work alongside experts in other areas, like skincare, so rural women can access the same personalised recommendations and advice without having to spend hours trying to figure it all out themselves.

And as for haircare…

Let’s just say there are a few ideas I’ve had from living with the realities of rural life that I would LOVE to bring to life one day.

Especially when it comes to something many of us wash our hair in every single day… 👀💧

But that’s a story for another time. 🤎

The dream is big.

And honestly?

We’re only just getting started.
