JEFFERY, Douglas Lewis "Doug"

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Douglas Jeffery, a man of boundless energy and intelligence. Doug was born on 5 September, 1929, and transitioned out of this life on 10 June, 2026. Through his journey of 96 years, he touched many lives with his wisdom, humour and an unwavering spirit of perseverance.

Doug's legacy of humour, perseverance, and learning will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of an indomitable spirit enthused with curiosity and resilience.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret and children; Diane, Swain, Scott, Warren and daughter in law Allison, grandchildren; Ashleigh, Adam, Michael, Stuart, Rachel, Luke, Madison, Taylah and great grandson Arthur, who were the lights of his life. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and all who mourn Doug's departure.

A graveside service celebrating Doug's exceptional life will be held on 19 June, 2026, at 1:30pm at Myall Remembrance Park, Bunya Highway, Dalby. We invite all who knew and loved Doug to join us in honouring his memory.

Treasured Mother of Abigayle. Cherished Daughter of Gayle and Phillip. Dearly loved sister of Simon and Tom and Sister in-law to Ksondra and Morgan. Devoted Aunty to Chase, George, Charlie, Louis, Claire, and Jack.
