ommunities from Oakey in the South East of Queensland Australia to St George in the South West of Queensland Australia. Goondir Health Services’ Medical Clinics are located in the townships of Dalby and St George with an Aboriginal Health Worker providing services from the Miles Hospital. Clients’ from the other communities of interest are either seen by Goondir visiting regional staff or present for appointments at either the St George or Dalby Clinics. Other communities of interest include Oakey, Jandowae, Surat, Dirranbandi, Thallon, Chinchilla, Tara and their surrounding areas. Goondir Health Services acknowledges all support provided by the Australian Government.

We had a wonderful turnout at the Goondir Oakey Clinic for Dr Louisa’s BBQ Lunch Farewell.

It was great to see so many patients, community members and staff drop in to share a meal, have a yarn and wish Dr Louisa well.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a special and memorable farewell.

Yesterday, the Goondir Health Services (GHS) team came together with community members and Elders to celebrate Dr Louisa’s retirement with a special lunch. 💐

It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise her dedication, contribution and the positive impact she has made over the years.

We were grateful to have our community members and Elders join us in celebrating this special occasion.

On Saturday night, 8 August 2026, Goondir Registered Nurse Amy proudly represented Goondir Health Services at the “Light Up the Night” Gala Ball on the Gold Coast.

The charity event brought together 375 people to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support children, individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse and family and domestic violence.
