FLIPPING HELL... WHAT A WEEKEND! 😍❄️☃️

12 of us headed to the snow for a frosty weekend adventure and what a blast it was!

We spent the weekend: ☃️ Building snowmen
❄️ Smashing snowballs
🛷 Sliding down slopes like ice cubes on a giant Super Slider
😂 Laughing until our faces hurt

Meanwhile, our day adventurers took on Flip Out Knox, bouncing so high their brains nearly shook loose and conquering the rock wall all the way to the top! 🧗‍♂️🤸‍♀️

Not content with all that excitement, Sunday saw us wandering through the beautiful Loch Village Market, browsing the stalls, grabbing a few treats and soaking up the country atmosphere. We then topped off the weekend with a visit to The Nobbies, enjoying the spectacular coastal views and fresh sea air. 🌊🐧

From snowfields to trampolines, country markets to ocean views, this weekend had a little bit of everything.

You could be forgiven for thinking we ran a Boys' Night Out and a Girls' Day Out over the weekend, but the truth is we just happened to be at two very different activities... and both were absolutely smashing! 🤩

The crew at AAMI Park had an awesome time watching the rugby live. There's nothing quite like being so close to the action and soaking up the atmosphere! 🏉👏

Meanwhile, the Ballet of Lights was simply magical. The beautiful costumes, glowing lights and stunning performances made for a truly special experience. ✨🩰💫

Two completely different outings, but plenty of smiles, laughter and great memories all around. That's what it's all about! 😊❤️

Today we say farewell to the lovely Primrose Paul.

Prim's journey with us began as a student completing her 400 hours of voluntary placement while working towards her Bachelor of Community Services. Following the successful completion of her placement, she enthusiastically joined the Your Supports Getaways Team, where she has supported and led many wonderful adventures with the people we support.

As she settled into her role, Prim built meaningful connections with so many of you. Along the way, she shared countless laughs, stories, and memorable experiences, creating lasting friendships and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

We have been truly blessed to work alongside Prim every day, witnessing her personal and professional growth while enjoying her bright smile, positive attitude, and incredibly kind heart. Her dedication, compassion, and enthusiasm have been greatly valued by both our team and the people we support.

Prim, we know you will continue to shine wherever your journey takes you. Thank you sincerely for everything you have given to our organisation, our team, and the people we support.

We wish you all the very best for the future and every success in the next chapter of your career. You will be greatly missed, but always remembered.

Although it was a quieter weekend in terms of numbers, it was still packed with fun and great memories!

A group travelled to Moama for the annual Winter Blues Festival, where spirits were high and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the weekend away. There was plenty of live music, good company, and lots of smiles all round.

On Sunday, a smaller group headed to Fortress at Melbourne Emporium. After enjoying lunch together, they spent the afternoon immersed in gaming, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs.

It may have been a quieter weekend, but it was certainly no less enjoyable! 😊🎶🎮

What a brilliant weekend!

Adventure Park's Winter Glow was a huge hit once again, and the guys had an absolute ball – and by that, we mean snowballs... lots of them flying in every direction! ❄️⛄😂

We split into 3 groups for a weekend full of fun and adventure. One group immersed themselves in the stunning sights and magical atmosphere of Lightscape, while the other enjoyed a trip to Melbourne's iconic Regent Theatre to see Pretty Woman on Sunday.

Weekend Fun Recap! ❄️🎶
Our weekend away to Geelong for Winter Wonderlights was an absolute blast, and boy, did we have some fun!
There was plenty of winter magic to enjoy, from toasting marshmallows by the fire to sliding down the snow ramps and getting involved in some epic snowball fights. It was super chill in more ways than one! ☃️🔥
On Saturday night, the group split into two adventures. One group headed off to experience the stunning Lightscape, while the other enjoyed a great night at the Stamford Inn, soaking up some fantastic live music.
Lots of laughs, great company, and memories made all weekend long. What a ripper of a time! 😄🙌

🌴☀️ Hervey Bay – The Final Day ☀️🌴
The gang arrived home safe and sound, touching down in chilly Melbourne at 8:30pm after an incredible Hervey Bay adventure.
Their final day was spent strolling through the beautiful botanical gardens and sharing lunch together while reflecting on the many wonderful experiences from the trip. Along the way, new friendships blossomed, confidence grew, and plenty of memories were made.
This getaway was a huge success, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone's efforts. Thank you to all who came along and made it such a special week. We’re already looking forward to planning the next adventure! 😊✈️🌊🌴

What a way to spend our final day in Hervey Bay! 🌊☀️
We kicked off with a relaxed morning before picking up some last-minute souvenirs at Pirate Cove. A walk along Urangan Pier had us experiencing all four seasons in one outing before we escaped the weather at the local art gallery, where the NAIDOC Week activities were a real highlight.
After a delicious lunch at Pies and Pastries Paradise, it was time for the highlight of the day—a sunset cruise on the marina. Stunning views, great tunes, drinks, and even a chance for some participants to steer the boat made for an unforgettable experience.
We finished the day with a lovely dinner at the Marina Boat Club. A fantastic last day filled with fun, laughter, and memories to last a lifetime! 🚤🌅😊

"A spoonful of happiness makes the medicine go down! What a delightful Sunday we had visiting the Mary Poppins Festival. Everyone loved the beautifully decorated houses, the fun activities, and the vibrant atmosphere that brought the magic of Mary Poppins to life. Later that evening, we enjoyed dinner at the Beach House Bistro, which certainly did not disappoint. A practically perfect day from beginning to end!" ☂️✨😊
