Are you a compassionate, hands-on Disability Support Worker who loves animals, the outdoors and helping people achieve their goals?

NDIThrive is a unique farm-based disability support organisation currently located in Bangholme. In September 2026, we’re moving to our brand-new, purpose-built farm in Pearcedale—and we’re looking for passionate people to join our team now.

No two days at NDIThrive are the same. We provide farm day programs, in-home support and community access, creating meaningful experiences that may include:

🐪 Feeding an assortment of animals & reptiles with clients
🍳 Cooking and developing everyday life skills
🎨 Exploring art and creative expression
🌱 Gardening, horticulture and working in our nursery
🤝 Supporting children aged 8+ and adults to build confidence, independence and connection

This isn’t a babysitting job —it’s a farm, kitchen, garden and community all in one!

We’d love to hear from people who have:

🎉 BIG NEWS! NDIThrive is Now an Accredited ASDAN International Training Provider! 🎉

We are incredibly excited to announce that **NDIThrive is now an accredited ASDAN International Training Provider!🌱🎓
Alongside our much-loved Farm Day Programs, we'll be offering internationally recognised accredited learning pathways from Term 1, 2027.

🌟 Option 1: ASDAN Short Courses
Complete a themed course each term in areas such as (lots to choose from):
🐑 Animal Care
🌿 Gardening & Horticulture
🍽️ FoodWise
🎨 Expressive Arts
👥 Leadership..and many more!

Each completed course contributes towards your ASDAN achievements, with an official ASDAN certificate (testamur) issued annually or upon completion.

🌟 Option 2: Towards Independence
ASDAN's flagship life skills programme is designed to help participants build confidence and independence.
With 88 flexible modules to choose from, participants can progress at their own pace across multiple terms, focusing on the skills most relevant to their goals.

Certificates are awarded for all completed modules whenever a participant finishes the programme.

These programmes may be funded through:
✅ NDIS Capacity Building Funding (for eligible NDIS participants)
OR
✅ Department of Education Disability Inclusion Funding through your school.

🌾 Slow Down, Skill Up - Adult NDIS Participants this is for you!🌾

Picture this: a cuppa in hand, fresh country air, and a Camel named Kamal giving you the once-over. That's a Wednesday or a Thursday at NDIThrive.

Our Farm Day Programs are built around real capacity building and skill development — but in a chilled, relaxed environment where the "work" doesn't feel like work. Feed the alpacas, potter in the polyhouse garden, help cook lunch, get creative in the Art Centre — all while building independence, confidence and everyday life skills, at your own pace, with some seriously cool animals as your backdrop.

Adult Program Days:
✅ Wednesdays — Life Skills, 10am–3pm
✅ Thursdays & Fridays — Group Farm Days, 9am–4pm — come 1, come all
✅ 1:1 support available any day — still part of the group, just at your own pace

🌿 NEW Saturday NDIS Farm Day Program – Now Open! 🐑🐐

We’re excited to introduce our Saturday Farm Day Program at NDIThrive – a unique, hands-on experience designed exclusively for NDIS participants.

🕙 Saturdays | 10:00am – 3:00pm - Commencing 6th June, 2026

Each week includes:
🐾 Animal interaction (including reptiles + feeding time!)
🌱 Horticulture, gardening, seed propagation & harvesting
🍳 Cooking session with a shared lunch
🎨 Arts & crafts – woodwork, resin, clay, bead and glass work, jewellery making & nature-based creations

This is fast becoming one of the most unique programs in the area, and places are already filling quickly from our waitlist.

As we come to the end of the school holidays, we’ve been reflecting on what has been a big (and very rewarding!) couple of weeks at NDIThrive.

Our first week kicked off at full pace with over 30 attending each day — the farm was buzzing with energy, laughter, and activity. We loved seeing the genuine connections forming — from gentle animal interactions to hands-on engagement in horticulture, gardening, cooking, and creative arts.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be getting the keys to our new farm in Pearcedale and beginning the transition across. Don’t panic — we’ve planned this carefully and have extended our time to ensure the move is smooth, especially for our beautiful animals. Their wellbeing (and a seamless experience for our clients) is our top priority.

The new location is only around 20 minutes away, and throughout the move we’ll continue operating and welcoming new clients and staff as we grow.

There are some bittersweet moments too. Last week we said goodbye to someone very special to the NDIThrive family — Dylan. Our reptile master, youth worker, and all-round legend has been a huge part of our journey. From sharing his passion for animals to building meaningful connections with participants, Dylan has left a lasting impact on so many. He’s heading off to pursue his career supporting young people — something he has worked hard to study and prepare for. While we’ll miss him greatly, we couldn’t be prouder and wish him every success. Our door is always open if he ever finds his way back down this way.

On a brighter note, we’re excited to welcome Meri to the team. With a wealth of knowledge and a lifetime of experience, we know she will be a fantastic addition and fit right in.

As the colder mornings settle in, stay warm — and remember we’re here for all your support needs. Whether it’s on the farm, in the community, or in-home supports, we’re ready to help.
