🌺 WATERLILY IS TAKING A LITTLE BREAK 🌺

After a very big and exhausting few months, I have made the decision to close Waterlily for the next three weeks.

Right now, I need to take some time away to study, rest, recharge and, most importantly, focus on my own wellbeing and the wellbeing of my family. 💚

At Waterlily, we are always reminding our people that self-care is important, that family matters, and that it is okay to recognise when you have reached your limit. So right now, I need to take some of my own advice.

For the next three weeks, I will be stepping away from Waterlily business, meetings and programs and giving myself permission to simply stop and be present with the people I love.

Fee-for-service opportunities may still be available during this time. I can share these with our Waterlily facilitators, so please feel free to reach out if you have a need.

If you need to book a meeting for when I return, please use my email calendar booking link to schedule a time.

Thank you to everyone who supports Waterlily and understands that sometimes we need to put our own wellbeing and our families first.

🎁🌺 WATERLILY SHOEBOX APPEAL 2026 🌺🎁

Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation is collecting shoebox donations on behalf of Darwin Community Church in Millner to support Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child.

Each shoebox is lovingly filled with gifts for a child, bringing them joy, hope and the message that they are loved. ❤️

We are seeking donations of new items suitable for boys and girls aged 2–4, 5–9 and 10–14 years, including:

🎨 Colouring and picture books
✏️ Pens, pencils, crayons and notebooks
🧸 Dolls, stuffed animals and small toys
⚽ Soccer balls with pumps and skipping ropes
👕 T-shirts, shorts, underwear and socks
🪥 Toothbrushes, combs and hairbrushes
🧢 Hats, caps and sunglasses
👟 New shoes

You can donate individual items, pack a complete shoebox, or contribute the essential $12.50 donation to help cover shipping and project costs.

Please ensure all donated items are new. We cannot accept food, liquids, medications, toothpaste, soap, breakable items, war-related toys, or second-hand items.

📍 Donations can be delivered to Waterlily Healing Indigenous Corporation, 2D/17 University Avenue, Palmerston.
