๐Ÿ’› Out of the Shadows Walk | Lifeline

Last week, our team took part in the Lifeline Out of the Shadows Walk โ€” walking together in support of su***de prevention and mental health awareness.

A beautiful walk, beautiful surroundings, and an important reminder of the power of connection, compassion and looking out for one another.

Weโ€™re proud to support Lifeline and the incredible work they do to support people through difficult times.

Mental health matters. Connection matters. And no one should have to face their darkest moments alone.

๐Ÿ’› Together, we can help break down stigma and shine a light on su***de prevention.

Every conversation matters. ๐Ÿ’›

Our team is taking part in Lifeline's Out of the Shadows Walk to remember those lost to su***ded, and to help create a community where people feel safe to reach out, ask for help, and know theyโ€™re not alone.

Weโ€™re proud to support this important cause and would love your support along the way. ๐Ÿ’›

U OK

I'm walking in Out of the Shadows for Lifeline to ensure no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

This is a topic weโ€™ve been talking about as a team โ€” and one we think deserves more attention.

The manosphere can feel like a distant online phenomenon, but the ideas being shared in these spaces can make their way into the everyday lives of children and young people: shaping how they understand masculinity, relationships, women, power and even themselves.

As a team working with children, adolescents and families, we think itโ€™s important that we donโ€™t simply dismiss these conversations or assume young people will โ€œknow betterโ€. We need to understand what theyโ€™re seeing, create spaces where they can ask difficult questions, and help them develop the critical thinking skills to recognise when belonging and connection are being offered at a cost.

This isnโ€™t about blaming boys or young men. Itโ€™s about being curious, informed and willing to have the conversation.

Because sometimes the uncomfortable conversations are the important ones.

A new documentary from award-winning filmmaker Louis Theroux puts the manosphere in the spotlight. We break down what it is and how we can support boys and young men to build healthy views of masculinity.
