August at The Bolt - This month, we’re offering three fully supported STA (respite) experiences in Daylesford for NDIS participants who want/need more than just time away from home.

Choose from:
🎨 3D Painting — 10–14 August 2026
📓 Journalling — 17–21 August 2026
🏺 Pottery — 31 August–4 September 2026

Each experience combines a clear creative focus with quality accommodation, great food (Bolt funded), genuine social connection and 24-hour onsite support from The Bolt team.

Guests will have the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, meet other people and enjoy a properly planned STA (respite) experience in one of our beautiful Daylesford properties.

No previous creative experience is needed. Our facilitators and support workers will help each guest participate at their own pace, while making sure the stay remains purposeful, enjoyable and aligned with their NDIS goals.

The Bolt is a registered NDIS provider specialising in STA (respite) and community support. We understand the rules, we take the support seriously, and we work hard to create experiences that participants genuinely want to come back to.

The Bolt’s Ceramics Experience gives participants the chance to work with clay in a safe, structured, and social environment. Guests can explore practical techniques including slab building, coiling, pinching, joining, and surface decoration while creating functional and decorative pieces in a way that supports participation, confidence, and creative expression. The live ceramics page also notes that experiences may include making vases, containers, tableware, and other clay pieces depending on the session.

We welcomed 8 guests for this experience and supported community access at Victoria’s biggest regional Pride event. Safe to say, it was an absolute blast.

💆‍♀️ Women’s Wellness Weekend
A calm, restorative weekend designed in partnership with local artisans, with thoughtful activities woven in and aligned with NDIS guidelines.

🌸 Easter Wreath Making
Led by our friend Caroline Hawkins, four guests created their own Easter wreaths and the results were seriously impressive.

✨ And that was only part of it.
