We have been reviewing how best to provide sustainable, accessible after-hours care across the local area.
On the Eastern Shore, Rosny Doctors & After Hours is facing limited doctor availability and growing patient demand. It is the only after-hours service provider in that area.
As such, we have made the decision to merge After Hours Doctor Tasmania with this Rosny clinic, moving staff and services to Rosny Doctors & After Hours from 3rd June this year. The move will significantly bolster after-hours services on the Eastern Shore, with hours of operation expanding to 6pm to 9pm Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 10pm Saturdays, and 1pm to 9pm on weekends and public holidays.
The final day of appointments at Derwent Park will be 31st May 2024, with staff and services moving to Rosny Doctors & After Hours at 27 Bligh Street, Rosny Park, from 3rd June (note: the Rosny clinic hours remain unchanged prior to this date).
