My name is Tamara Stone and I am a doula covering the Bunbury and South West are of WA. My most important job is being the mother to four fabulous boys. I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula. R - Doula Services. I have been a Doula for 7 years and have supported 11 families so far. I did my Birth Doula training in 2006 with Australian Doulas when my third son was almost 2yrs old. Besides being a mum, this would have to be the best job ever! I am the Regional Rep for Australian Doulas and am now training future doulas. The goal for this year is to have supported 20 births :)

If you are having a home birth with either an independant midwife or through the Midwivery Group Program (MGP), and you are considering using water as pain relief or to birth in...I have birth pools for hire! 🤰Pregnant women of WA! You deserve to have your chosen support persons with you in labour.

🤦‍♀️ Currently the government health directives state that you are only permitted one essential labour support person - which we all know is an absurd restriction to place on birthing women & their partners.

📢 Change does not happen if we are submissive and stay quiet. Consumers (Aka BIRTHING WOMEN) need to make noise.

The east coast of Australia is being devastated by bushfires, and we've been feeling a bit helpless over here on this side of the country. So 11 local South West photographers have decided to team up and come up with a way to help!
We've decided to do a day of mini sessions next Sunday 12th January, and we will be donating 100% of the takings to the CFA VIC Bushfire Disaster Relief Fund!
They will be 15 minute mini sessions with 5 edited photos included. These sessions can be for families, couples, mummy and me - whatever you want! Running between 5pm to 7pm, there will be two locations available - Bunbury and Cowaramup.
To book a session time, please pm any of the participating photographers of your preferred location to get a link to the booking form. Please note, this is a "lucky dip" style collaborative event - you will not choose your preferred photographer, but will be randomly allocated to one of the participating photographers on the day!
