My client Nat, made this post about how she has found the gym that she sticks to… I almost cried, because this is exactly what I had hoped. Obviously, to make a space where I can provide exercise solutions, but so much more than that! 🥹
To create a space for people to meet, to connect across age groups, cultures, and sexuality, and I think we have something special. 🌏🌈☮️❤️
We share ups and downs, homesickness, hardship, life-changing milestones, happiness, pride, hope, and aspirations. All this is because of a bunch of people wanting to better themselves and get stronger, and it all started with vulnerability. ❤️

Alright, so here’s a bit of a longer one.
A lovely way to switch on the glutes if they’re taking a backseat.

If you don’t want to watch it all, the first 1:15 is the most important part here! If you feel tight around your hips and lower back, this is a game changer, trust me. Just try it out. Get in tune with your body and notice how your hips feel looser after.
The rest you can follow along with, pause, and do 10 reps of each or however many you feel like! Enjoy!

Sunday morning is our stretching and mobility day.
Now why is it important to do mobility work? Well ideally it would be done every day…
Work commitments often have us stuck in seated positions that cause us to be rounded forward, not to mention all the time spent on smartphones. Strengthening the muscles and mobilising them is super important for function, joint range of motion, and injury prevention.
With some of our clients coming to the gym 5 times a week and having physically demanding jobs our Sunday stretching session has been a great addition

It is freezing outside, but a message like this keeps us warm! This is exactly why we are absolutely obsessed with what we do! Our team work through the hardship with our clients and make it work in our small classes.
After injuries we make the appropriate adaptations to recover, strengthen and build up again, so we can keep moving 💪 🤩
