From Coffs Harbour… to Katherine
We’re on the move, bringing Defence Kids programs into regional Australia and reaching more young people where they are.
Children and young people in Defence families can experience unique challenges, from frequent relocations to time away from a parent or carer, which is why connection, stability and mental health support matter.
Our recent stop at the Bear Grylls Survival Camp in Coffs Harbour saw young adventurers take on obstacle courses, team challenges and nature-based missions, learning real survival skills while backing each other every step of the way.
Defence-focused mental health education sessions created space to connect, share and build confidence in a supportive environment.
