The National AusAlert Test is happening on Monday 27 July.

🕑 At approximately 2:00 pm (AEST) on Monday 27 July 2026, Australia will conduct a nationwide test of the new AusAlert emergency warning system.

📱 Compatible mobile phones, tablets and some smartwatches will:

* 🚨 Sound a loud siren-like alert (around 10 seconds)

* 📳 Vibrate

* 📲 Display a message stating that it is only a test

Dubbo Dementia Alliance in conjunction with NALAG invite you to join them for the first annual Dubbo Memory Walk — a special community event to honour loved ones and support those living with dementia. 💙

📍 Dubbo Region Botanic Gardens
⏰ 9:00am – 11:00am

Enjoy a gentle 20–30 minute walk, followed by a remembrance ceremony, local live music and a community BBQ hosted by the Rotary Club of Dubbo. 🌳🎶🌭

💛❤️🖤 Happy NAIDOC Week! 🖤❤️💛

This week, we celebrate the rich histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and recognise the strength, resilience and wisdom of the world’s oldest continuing cultures.

At DANS, we are committed to creating a community where everyone feels respected, valued and connected. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to listen, learn and walk together with First Nations peoples, celebrating culture while reflecting on our shared journey towards reconciliation.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and provide care, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We also recognise the strength and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our communities every day.

Let’s take this week to celebrate culture, embrace learning and continue building stronger, more inclusive communities together.
