Let’s be real for a second. We’ve all had those days.
It’s cold, it’s damp, your to-do list is a mile long, and that little voice in your head is whispering, "Let’s just skip Pilates/ the run / the weights workout today." 🌧️💼

How many times have you sat on the couch, waiting for that sudden burst of "inspiration" or "motivation" to finally start exercising, working on your goals, or booking that trip?

Here’s a truth bomb that might completely change how you view yourself: Motivation is a loop, not a straight line. 🔄

Most women and girls are trapped waiting for a feeling that isn't coming. We think it goes: Feel Motivated ➡️ Take Action.

But brain science tells us the exact opposite. The true engine of sustainable drive actually looks like this:
✨ DECISION ➡️ ACTION ➡️ RESULT/FEEDBACK ➡️ MOTIVATION ✨

Let’s break down how this changes the game for you:

1️⃣ The Decision is the Threshold: Motivation doesn’t knock on your door while you're resting. It starts with a firm decision. Choosing to act—despite feeling tired, uninspired, or full of doubt—is the actual catalyst. Action is a choice. Motivation is just the byproduct.
2️⃣ Action Precedes Emotion: Action is the spark that lights the fire. When you take consistent, deliberate steps, you trigger a neurochemical shift. Great news ! URISE 7am Pilates class is all systems go !

Join us at the Wardell Catholic Church Hall - Rainbow Room - for a 7-8am Mat Pilates class !

Start you day the right way with a 40 minute session, plus a 20 minute stretch a relaxation to help you finish off the working week and kick start your weekend .

Classes will run for 8 weeks starting Friday May 8th.

A 6 or 8 week class pass can be purchased for $15 per class online at :

Reminders and updates !

Ballina URISE mat Pilates classes will kick off at 5.30pm Tuesday 14th April and run all term until June 30th

Wardell URISE mat Pilates classes run from 6-7pm on Wednesdays starting 15th April through to July 1st .

The amazing Michelle Henry-Osborn will lead classes next week at both venues as I am away for work . Thanks so much 🙏🏻❤️… you will all love her class!

No classes in July school
Holidays , but I am gradually loading more 45 min classes and 15 min mini sessions that you can do at home to my online platform so you will not miss out !!!!

Wardell class is 6-7pm at the Wardell Catholic Church hall
Come along and join us for 40-45 minutes of Mat Pilates where we focus on pelvic floor activation, core strength, joint stability, improving range of motion, balance and control, followed by 15-20 minutes of flexibility , relaxation and range of different mindful practices to leave you feeling relaxed and truly connected.
