Big things are happening at Emerge. πŸ’™
For a little while now, we've been quietly working behind the scenes on something we're really looking forward to sharing with you.
Soon, Emerge will be moving into a new home.
From the beginning, we've had a vision for a space that reflects the way we work together and the experience we hope every person has when they walk through our doors.
As Emerge has grown, this next step has become a natural one. Our new home will give us the opportunity to continue to grow, learn and work alongside our community in a new space.
We're putting the finishing touches on everything before we open the doors and show you around.
Over the coming weeks we'll share photos, social stories and everything you'll need to know before your first visit.
We can't wait to welcome you.
πŸ’™

Families know their child in ways no one else can.
The ENVISAGE Parent Program has been developed with that understanding at its heart.
This free, evidence informed program recognises the knowledge, strengths and experiences that families already bring. Across four interactive sessions, parents and caregivers will explore practical ideas, connect with other families and build confidence in navigating their own journey.
If you're a parent or caregiver of a young child with developmental differences or disability, we'd love to welcome you.
If you're an educator, early childhood professional, health professional, family member or friend, we'd be grateful if you could share this opportunity with families who may benefit.
πŸ“ Emerge Allied Health, Launceston
πŸ“… Thursdays from 13 August
πŸ’š Free to attend
For more information or to register, scan the QR code on the flyer or send us a message.
Together, we can create communities where families feel informed, connected and supported.

A teal text box appears over the centre of the video with the words, "Every family brings unique knowledge about their child." The reel ends with information about the free ENVISAGE Parent Program at Emerge Allied Health, including the start date and an invitation to learn more.

πŸ“± AusAlert Test Tomorrow

At 2:00 pm on Monday 27 July, Australia will be testing the new AusAlert emergency warning system.

If your device is compatible, it may play a loud alert sound, vibrate, and display a message, even if it is on silent or Do Not Disturb.

For many people, it will simply be a brief surprise. For others, unexpected sounds can be uncomfortable or overwhelming. Knowing what to expect ahead of time can make a real difference.

Here are a few ideas that may help:
🧑 Let family members know there will be a loud test alert.
🎧 Have headphones or ear muffs available if these are already helpful.
🫢 Reassure anyone who may need it that it is only a test and everyone is safe.
🌿 If someone would like a quiet space or a moment to regroup afterwards, that is okay too.

The alert will clearly state that it is a TEST and no action is required.

A little advance notice can help make tomorrow's alert more predictable for everyone.

The heading reads "AusAlert Test Tomorrow" The graphic explains that at 2:00 pm AEST on Monday 27 July, compatible devices may play a loud alert, vibrate, and display a test message. Tips encourage giving advance notice, having headphones or ear muffs available if they are already helpful, and offering reassurance that it is only a test. The final section reminds readers that the alert is a test and that no action is required.
