Meet Chris! Chris is our in house Accountant here at Action OT.

Here’s a few things you should know about Chris:

💬 My favourite thing about my job is looking at current systems and working out a better way to do something, or tackling a new requirement for information. There’s always a new spreadsheet to solve any problem.

💬 When I am not at work, my time is taken up with my native garden, reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, LEGO and running around for 7 grandchildren.

💬 Something you probably didn’t know about me is I have an online store selling LEGO parts. Check me out at Grandad’s Bricks!

Meet Sophie! Sophie is a Senior Occupational Therapist and Clinical Supervisor here at Action OT.

Here’s a few things you should know about Soph:

💬 My favourite thing about my job is being able to think outside the box to assist clients to reach their goals. There are no 'one size fits all' solutions, so no two days are the same. I enjoy working within the neuro space and building strong relationships with clients, their carers, and their families. As a community OT, I often work with clients and their families for many years, which is a special part of the job I find meaningful and rewarding.

💬 When I am not at work, I am usually with friends or adventuring with my husband, Brandon, and our German Shepherd, Lola. On a day off, you may find me up a mountain, at the beach, at the snow, camping, in the gym, or sipping a spritz (Limoncello preferred, Aperol acceptable).

💬 Something you probably didn’t know about me is I love to create, whether it’s drawing, painting, refurbishing second hand furniture, writing, or photography. I am very mid at all of these things but love the process of creating something and the dopamine that comes with the final result!
