Meet Fiona π
Fiona and I started working together about 4 weeks ago.
Her previous exercise routine consisted of her and Raj (her dog π) going for 2 x 20 min walks per day...how goods that...but she wanted more, just wasnβt sure what or howπ€
Fiona is a Transplant Games Competitor π©π½βπ¦° π₯
At a young age Fiona had many health issues arise that resulted in various surgeries; open heart, kidney transplant just to name a few. Fiona also lives with ASD, VSD and suffers some on going aches and pains due to her Skeletal Dysplasia. She also has to adhere to a pretty decent amount of medications daily all with their own side effects.
Fiona has recently made the Transplant games but due to the current circumstances itβs been postponed. She qualified for shot-put and discuss.
Her life long goal which she doesnβt think is possible (yet) is to be able to play a game of cricket but due to her dysplasia has never been able to hold a bat properly. (Her fav player is Steve Smith π€)
Fiona is awesome, most people would be quite sedentary (no movement) if they had to work around all of these conditions however Fiona is always striving for more. Sheβs looking for answers, so we are working hard to continue to get her to her goals.
We are applying exercises, movements and habits to not only get her stronger, more mobile, to improve her quality of life, but we are going to get her to be able to hit a 6 right into the crowd.
There should be no limitation of what you think you can do. Fiona is proof to that.
