Have you met my remarkable midwives?

One of the things I value most about my practice is the exceptional team I have the privilege of working alongside.

Michelle, Charis and Kate are experienced, compassionate endorsed midwives who provide personalised care, education and reassurance throughout your pregnancy and into the fourth trimester. Their warmth, knowledge and dedication help ensure every family we look after feels nurtured, informed and truly supported.

As part of your pregnancy journey, you’ll enjoy dedicated appointments with our midwifery team (these do not replace, but rather complement your visits with me):
✔️ 13 weeks – Pregnancy education, trusted resources and personalised support.
✔️ 24 weeks – Discussion around recommended vaccinations, a guided hospital tour, understanding fetal movements and exploring your birth options.
✔️ 30 weeks – Childbirth education and preparing for a confident transition into parenthood.
✔️ 37 weeks – Newborn feeding guidance and practical support for the early postnatal weeks.
✔️ Postnatal appointments at 2 weeks (in rooms) and 4 weeks (Telehealth) following birth
✔️ Daily visits on the postnatal ward to enhance your continuity of care experience (Monday-Friday)

Additional appointments can be scheduled, as medically indicated or requested by you.

To make your care as seamless and convenient as possible, we also offer:
✔️ Unlimited access to our dedicated onsite CTG (fetal monitoring) room
✔️ Influenza, whooping cough and RSV vaccinations
✔️ NIPT and recessive carrier screening bloods at the time of your scheduled appointment with me at ten weeks gestation
✔️ Expert, sophisticated wound and scar management post-caesarean section

A thoughtfully integrated, multidisciplinary model of care, all under one roof. Every aspect of our practice has been intentionally designed to provide gold-standard care with a personal touch - where you are known, listened to and respected at every stage of your journey.

Every family is unique, and your care should be too.

I prioritise:
✔️ Keeping you, your baby and your family safe
✔️ Creating the most wonderful pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience, tailored to your individual preferences

The route to achieving this will look different for every patient. My job is to personalise your pathway to parenthood and beyond.

You should feel engaged and empowered throughout. I will provide you with robust and up-to-date evidence, as well as comprehensive holistic support through my expert multidisciplinary team.

World IVF Day.

This hits differently as an obstetrician who’s been in the trenches of IVF.

Infertility is often described as the worst club to belong to. Yet it’s filled with some of the strongest and most resilient people you’ll ever meet.

Today is for them.

And it’s for the pioneers, scientists, fertility specialists, embryologists and nurses who changed the course of human fertility forever. Millions of families exist because they refused to accept that “impossible” was the end of the story.

Today, I celebrate IVF. I’ll never stop being grateful that it gave me the gift of parenthood.

My team and I have proudly created an inclusive, safe, patient-centred space.

We promise to provide equitable care regardless of gender, family structure, race or religion.

We welcome single parents, partnered couples (heterosexual and members of the LGBTQIA+ community) and gestational surrogates with their intended parents.

This photo captures something I value deeply - not just the people in it, but the way we care for our patients together.

One in three Australian women describe their childbirth experience as traumatic. That’s a statistic we cannot ignore.

Trauma-informed care isn’t a buzzword. It’s at the heart of everything we do. It’s a commitment to seeing every patient as an individual. It’s listening to your story, respecting your preferences and recognising that both your birth experience and its clinical outcomes matter. It’s providing timely, evidence-based education ahead of birth so that you know what to expect. It’s ensuring you feel heard without judgment or fear.

This responsibility is held jointly across our entire multidisciplinary team. Our perinatal psychologist, Jackie Bailey Jackie Bailey | Joyful Being, brings extraordinary expertise and compassion to women navigating pregnancy, birth, previous trauma and recovery after difficult birth experiences. Our wonderful midwives and administration team also play an essential role. Every conversation, every phone call, every appointment and every interaction contributes to helping you feel safe and cared for.

Whilst not every birth will go to plan, our continuity-of-care model means you will have our team supporting you through every step of your journey.

So happy to have our wonderful physio Jess JESS JENKINS | Women’s Health Physio + Pilates back!

After welcoming her beautiful twin girls in October, Jess has returned from maternity leave and we’re thrilled to have her looking after our patients once again.

Every patient of mine has an appointment with one of our Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapists during the second trimester, included as a part of your holistic, multidisciplinary care. These sessions are an important component of your pregnancy, where you receive expert guidance with:
✅Managing pregnancy aches and pains
✅Pelvic floor health
✅Preparing for birth
✅Optimising postpartum recovery

A huge thank you to Dr Anne Stone Physiotherapist for the exceptional support she provided while Jess was on leave. Our patients were incredibly lucky to be in such capable hands.

Jess will be working with us two days each week, while the wonderful Chantelle Simioni | Pelvic Health & Aerial Physiotherapist continues with us one day a week.

Together, our physiotherapy team ensures our patients receive gold-standard, evidence-based care throughout pregnancy and beyond.

Welcome back, Jess - we’ve missed you!
