Just found out you’re pregnant?

Congratulations! It’s such an exciting time, but it can also feel a little overwhelming.

So, where do you even begin?

The first step is simple: give us a call as soon as you have a positive pregnancy test. From the moment you book with us, you’re under our care. Whether you have questions, need reassurance, or are experiencing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or bleeding, we’re here to support you - even before your first appointment. No question is too big or too small.

At your first visit, I’ll perform your dating ultrasound to confirm your due date and ensure everything is progressing as expected. From there, we’ll create a personalised plan for your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience. My holistic approach is supported by a trusted multidisciplinary team, ensuring you receive comprehensive, individualised care every step of the way.

To provide you with the highest level of care, I intentionally limit the number of patients I care for each month. However, if you’ve been under my care for a previous pregnancy or you’ve seen me for pre-pregnancy counselling, you’ll always be welcomed back, even if my monthly cap has been reached.

To begin your journey with us, please contact my dedicated medical administration team on (03)9347-0747. We look forward to caring for you.

Have you met my remarkable midwives?

One of the things I value most about my practice is the exceptional team I have the privilege of working alongside.

Michelle, Charis and Kate are experienced, compassionate endorsed midwives who provide personalised care, education and reassurance throughout your pregnancy and into the fourth trimester. Their warmth, knowledge and dedication help ensure every family we look after feels nurtured, informed and truly supported.

As part of your pregnancy journey, you’ll enjoy dedicated appointments with our midwifery team (these do not replace, but rather complement your visits with me):
✔️ 13 weeks – Pregnancy education, trusted resources and personalised support.
✔️ 24 weeks – Discussion around recommended vaccinations, a guided hospital tour, understanding fetal movements and exploring your birth options.
✔️ 30 weeks – Childbirth education and preparing for a confident transition into parenthood.
✔️ 37 weeks – Newborn feeding guidance and practical support for the early postnatal weeks.
✔️ Postnatal appointments at 2 weeks (in rooms) and 4 weeks (Telehealth) following birth
✔️ Daily visits on the postnatal ward to enhance your continuity of care experience (Monday-Friday)

Additional appointments can be scheduled, as medically indicated or requested by you.

To make your care as seamless and convenient as possible, we also offer:
✔️ Unlimited access to our dedicated onsite CTG (fetal monitoring) room
✔️ Influenza, whooping cough and RSV vaccinations
✔️ NIPT and recessive carrier screening bloods at the time of your scheduled appointment with me at ten weeks gestation
✔️ Expert, sophisticated wound and scar management post-caesarean section

A thoughtfully integrated, multidisciplinary model of care, all under one roof. Every aspect of our practice has been intentionally designed to provide gold-standard care with a personal touch - where you are known, listened to and respected at every stage of your journey.

I prioritise:

You should feel engaged and empowered throughout. I will provide you with robust and up-to-date evidence, as well as comprehensive holistic support through my expert multidisciplinary team.

World IVF Day.

This hits differently as an obstetrician who’s been in the trenches of IVF.

Infertility is often described as the worst club to belong to. Yet it’s filled with some of the strongest and most resilient people you’ll ever meet.

Today is for them.

And it’s for the pioneers, scientists, fertility specialists, embryologists and nurses who changed the course of human fertility forever. Millions of families exist because they refused to accept that “impossible” was the end of the story.

Today, I celebrate IVF. I’ll never stop being grateful that it gave me the gift of parenthood.
