Exciting news! From August 22nd, Derbarl East Perth will be trialling GP appointments on Saturdays.

Many clients who work across the week now have the option to see a Derbarl doctor outside of regular hours.

Standard GP Consults will be available at the East Perth Clinic on Saturdays between 9am - 1pm.

Spots are limited! To book in or find out more, please call 1800 311 888.

On Wednesday, Terry and Tamara from the Derbarl Tackling Indigenous Smoking team attended Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital to conduct a Healthy Lungs event.
Our staff have been working hard, engaging with community and bringing awareness to the harms of to***co. A small example of the difference they've been making happened at Wednesday's event.

At a previous event in June, a young woman "Jen" who frequently used a v**e, visited the Derbarl table and viewed Clem’s Phlegm. She had a very strong reaction, saying, “Ewww. Does that really happen?”

It was passed along at this event that Jen and two of her colleagues had given up va**ng after seeing Clem's Phlegm and she's now working to make her home v**e free. It was such a lovely example of how the smallest things can make a difference to the lives of others!

Update on Derbarl Maddington - The clinic repairs continue, but an opening date will confirmed in the coming weeks.

Yesterday Derbarl Board and CEO met with Mr Rick Curtis, Acting Commissioner, Corrective Services, at our East Perth Clinic to discuss prison health and the important role of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services in delivering culturally safe primary health care for Aboriginal people in custody and supporting continuity of care on transition back into community.

Derbarl is committed to working collaboratively with the Department to strengthen access to our community-led primary health care.
