I've changed how I am charging for pregnancy and postnatal care, with the introduction of Bulk-Billing!*
Cost of living is making life tough for everyone, but I am passionate that women deserve amazing care in their pregnancy and postnatal journey, and I want to make that accessible.
I want women to have individualised care when they choose to birth at their local public hospital, both during pregnancy and when they come home. I also know not everyone can afford the cost for a private midwife to attend their birth. My Shared Care options mean you can birth at hospital with their team (which costs you nothing out of pocket) but also have continuity in your pregnancy and postnatal journey in your home. This means less hospital appointments, less travel and waiting.
* So how does this work? Your first appointment is Privately billed (with a Medicare Rebate) Then EVERY follow-up appointment, in YOUR HOME is Bulk-billed, no further out of pocket cost to you. You get long appointments (minimum 1 hour) where YOU are the focus. How many? Normally at least 10 in your pregnancy, and 8 in the postpartum period plus telehealth if you need it.
