This November, Njernda will have 4 vacancies for Board Director Positions

📋 Nomination forms are available now via our website or Njernda's Corporate Services Office
✅ Open to any Member who meets the eligibility requirements set out in Njernda's Rule Book
🗓️ Forms must be submitted by 4:30pm, Thursday 15th October 2026

Elected Member Directors will be confirmed at our Annual General Meeting on Saturday 28th November 2026.
If you're eligible and want to help guide the direction of Njernda, we'd love for you to put your hand up.

Winyanboga is back for 2026!

Our 8-week Winyanboga ("Group for Women") program is returning, running every Thursday from 8th October.

📍 Families, Healing and Support Service, 103-107 Hare Street, Echuca
🕙 10am–2pm

We'll be getting into weaving classes and possum skin burning this term, so come along and empower yourself and your community.

Open to local Indigenous women. Transport is available upon request.

Certificate IV in Community Services is starting through Echuca TAFE, and we can't wait to see our community get involved!

🏆 Celebrating Malik: Excellence Award for Community Impact 🏆

A HUGE congratulations to Malik, who was presented with the Excellence Award for Community Impact on Friday 14 August.
Nominated by his colleagues, Malik was recognised for the positive impact he has within his community and the difference he makes to those around him, showing the important role young people can play in creating positive change.

The night also featured a beautiful performance of Gitjika to Gitjika from a talented local girls dance group.
