Studying abroad sounds like the ultimate adventure, but for many international students in Australia, the reality is tough.
A recent study looked closely at the mental health of international students in Australia and found:
🏫Up to 54% of students report experiencing high psychological distress, with large numbers battling anxiety (up to 43%) and depression (up to 38%).
🏫 The biggest hurdles include loneliness and isolation (60-65%), financial or work struggles (up to 95%), language barriers, and safety or discrimination concerns.
