Happy 1st Birthday to our GE Signa Voyager MRI unit!

Last year was a big moment for our practice and our community with the installation of this vital piece of medical imaging equipment.

In the last year;

- We've been able to look after over 2000 MRI patients
- Saved patients travelling over 1.4 million kilometres
- Saved the community $2.5 million in fuel costs
- Saved 14000 hours of patient travel

We've provided this service bulk billing rebatable referrals and charging private fees equivalent to MRI services in Rockhampton.

We thank you all for the ongoing support and look forward to welcoming you to the clinic if the need arise.

We are excited to announce that one of our own Emerald Lions Team, Lion Sheryl Keppler is representing Australian Lions in the Kili4Kids Team as they attempt to summit to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar (5643m.) Sheryl will join Lions from 17 other countries as they attempt a world record with the most ladies (all Lions members) from different countries summiting together.

Sheryl will be proudly flying the Australian Flag at the top, presented here by the Honorable Mr Colin Boyce.

Thank you to the Emerald Lions Club for a very special donation which will make a massive difference for our MRI patients. This week, Pam Palm, Debbie Shields, Margaret Harris presented our MRI Tech extraordinaire Christie with a slimline MRI compatible headset which allows our patients to enjoy their own tunes while having MRI of the head and neck. Traditional MRI headsets are too large and these new headsets will improve patient comfort and MRI imaging for the community. ❤️ 🙏
