Today we’re celebrating Jacob’s 5-year anniversary at Emerald Plaza Pharmacy! 🎉

Jacob grew up in Emerald before returning home as a pharmacy student, completing his internship with us after graduating from Griffith University, and progressing to become our Managing Pharmacist.

We’re proud to support and develop local pharmacists, creating opportunities for them to build their careers right here in the Central Highlands. Having healthcare professionals who know our community and choose to stay and serve locally is something we value.

Congratulations, Jacob, and thank you for your dedication, leadership and commitment over the past five years. We’re grateful to have you as part of the team and look forward to many more years ahead.

This ANZAC Day, Emerald Plaza Pharmacy will be closed as we take time to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice, and service of all Australians and New Zealanders.

Flu Season is almost upon us! What can you do to protect yourself and others from falling sick? Here a few things to keep in mind this flu season.

👉Practice good hygiene! Make sure to wash your hands regularly and cough/sneeze into your elbow instead of your hands.
👉If you're feeling unwell, stay home! If you are experiencing symptoms or feeling sick, stay home, rest and drink plenty of fluids.
👉Keep your space clean! Let some fresh air into your home and frequently wipe down areas such as your kitchen or dining table.
👉Visit your local pharmacy! We have a variety of products available to help prevent or treat flu symtpoms.
