Early identification can support feeding, sleep, speech, and overall development. 🤍

A child should be able to:
• breathe through their nose
• sleep quietly
• rest with lips together
• chew properly
• wake feeling rested
Too often, parents are told to “wait and see.”
But when it comes to airway and oral function, early awareness can change everything.
Because breathing affects sleep.
Sleep affects behaviour.
And facial growth and development affects lifelong health.

This communication modality is required for those clients that have difficulty using speech to communicate. These clients may use a device or a more low tech means to express themselves. AAC gives a voice to those who need a little extra help to be heard 💙
