Adult Speech Therapy is a team of highly experienced Speech Pathologists helping clients with of a range of communication, speech and swallowing difficulties resulting from:
Stroke: aphasia, dyspraxia, dysarthria
Traumatic Brain injury: cognitive communicati
on difficulties, social skills
Vocal disorders: muscle tension dysphonia, nodules, occupational voice users such as teachers. Parkinson's disease: including SPEAK OUT! and LSVT® Loud - Evidence Based Voice treatment
Progressive neurological conditions (such as MS and Motor Neurone Disease): swallowing, saliva control and speech
Dementia: swallowing and communication
Intellectual and physical disability
Autism - neurodivergent affirming, AAC. Our Speech Pathologists work closely with you, your family members and the rest of your team including other allied health clinicians, support workers, nurses and doctors.
