A reminder that Su***de Prevention Day and R U OK? Day are this Thursday! 🌿

From 8am to 9am, coffee is on The READ Clinic for EVERYONE who heads to Kafich Espresso Bar, West Gosford. Pop down, grab a cup, and have a chat, we'd love to see you!

No appointments, no forms, no pressure. Just a coffee, a friendly face, and a reminder that you don't have to carry things on your own.

Our team is also walking in the Out of the Shadows Walk for Su***de Prevention Day, in support of Lifeline. Every conversation counts, and a simple "are you OK?" can be the start of one.

If you or someone you care about needs support now:
Call Lifeline 13 11 14, or 000 in an emergency.

Thursday 10th September is World Su***de Prevention Day and R U OK Day, and our team at The READ Clinic will be walking in the Out of the Shadows Walk. 🌿

We're walking to remember those lost to su***de, and for everyone quietly doing it tough right now, even if no one else can see it. It's a small act, but we hope it says something big: no one should have to face their darkest moments alone.

We believe in this cause so much that we're covering the cost of coffee between 8am and 9am at Kafich Espresso Bar, West Gosford. Yep, the coffee's on us! It's our way of supporting, connecting, and getting behind this important initiative for mental wellbeing and su***de prevention.

Pop down, grab a coffee, and if you need a friendly face or a chat, we'd genuinely love to see you.

If you're able to, a donation to our team goes straight to Lifeline, helping keep their crisis line open for someone who might need a voice to hold onto, day or night.

And if walking yourself feels right for you, please do, register yourself or a team on the Out of the Shadows website.

The link to donate is in our bio.

One conversation can change a life. Sometimes, it's the one that changes everything.

Not every therapy experience leaves you feeling truly understood 🧠 ||

If you've spent years feeling too complicated, too much, or too hard to help, particularly around ADHD or autism, we see you.

David's approach is warm, intuitive and built around you. There are no cookie-cutter plans, no generic advice, just a genuine focus on building on what you're already good at, not only addressing what feels hard. Using evidence-based CBT and ACT, he works alongside you to set goals that actually matter and support real, measurable progress toward them.

He's spent years working with children, teens and adults navigating ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, stress and emotional dysregulation, bringing genuine experience to presentations that can feel misunderstood elsewhere.

If you're looking for a space where you're heard, valued and met without judgement, David would love to help.

πŸ“ž Call (02) 4363 6600, DM us, or tap the link in bio to book your first session with David.

What if therapy didn't ask you to shrink to fit a mould, but helped you grow into exactly who you are? 🌱

That's the space Brendan creates. He believes therapy should empower people to be authentically and passionately themselves, bringing genuine curiosity, respect, and a natural drive to celebrate individuality and diversity into every session.

Brendan isn't just any Clinical Psychologist. He's a genuine scientist-practitioner, having taught undergraduate psychology at Macquarie University, with research exploring how psychologists can better support clients in non-traditional relationships, a rare, non-judgemental lens he brings straight into the therapy room.

Trained in CBT, EMDR, and psychological assessment, he's spent years working across the lifespan, from children and teenagers to adults, including designing tailored interventions for clients on NDIS plans and helping people navigate anxiety, mood disorders and life's harder moments.

With Brendan, you get evidence-based care that never loses sight of your unique story.

Ready to work with someone who sees the whole you?

Anxiety can be an extremely convincing storyteller.

The stories feel real. They feel urgent. They feel like facts.
One of the most powerful things therapy may teach is how to hold an anxious thought lightly, to notice it, question it, and choose how to respond to it.

Save this for the next time your brain is spinning or send to someone you think might find this helpful!
