On the night before you turn three… 🤍🤍🤍

You were once a prayer.

You were once a tiny little poppy seed.

You were once the heartbeat growing safely inside of me.

And now, somehow, you’re about to turn three.

Tonight, I tuck you into bed for the very last time as my two-year-old little boy.

It feels like only yesterday that I held you in my arms for the very first time, and I truly can’t understand how we’ve already arrived here.

Two has been the most wonderful, wild, exhausting, hilarious, beautiful year. We’ve had giggles that made our bellies hurt, tears that tested us both, cuddles that fixed everything, and moments that made me wish I could freeze time forever.

Some days left my head spinning, and some days filled my heart so completely I thought it might burst.

But through every high and every low, every adventure and every ordinary day, one thing has never changed…

You are the greatest privilege of my life.

You made me a mother.

You gave my life a love I never knew could exist.

Watching you grow has been the greatest joy I’ve ever known, and at the same time, the greatest heartbreak—because every new version of you means saying goodbye to the little boy you were yesterday.

So tonight, I’ll hold you a little longer.

I’ll kiss your forehead one more time as my two-year-old.

And tomorrow, I’ll wake up to my beautiful three-year-old boy.

No matter how big you grow, you’ll always be my baby 🤍🤍🤍✨😭😭⚡️✨🏎️

Today she climbed onto the couch all by herself for the very first time.

To anyone else, it was just another milestone. Sometimes it’s the smallest milestones that catch you off guard.

To me, it was another quiet reminder that she’s growing up.

One day I’ll forget exactly when this happened, but I’ll never forget how it made me feel.

Motherhood is celebrating every first while quietly saying goodbye to the version of your baby that came before it.

So here’s to another little moment I’ll treasure forever. 🤍
