Color Perception: A Kaleidoscope of Possibilities

Did you know that the human eye can distinguish around 1 million different colors? This remarkable ability is thanks to specialized cells in our retinas called cones. There are three types of cones, each sensitive to different wavelengths of light corresponding to red, green, and blue.
