We are seeking a passionate and hard working speech pathologist to join our boutique allied health practice in Euroa, country Victoria. The multidisciplinary clinic provides a dynamic environment with an integrated approach to patient care. You will work at the private rooms, local schools, aged care and visit clients in their homes.
As part of the role you will assess, diagnose, treat and provide management and advocacy services to NDIS clients, children and adults with communication or swallowing disorders, and those with difficulties in speech, language, voice, fluency, and reading and spelling. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with families, local schools, care facilities, daycare centres and other organisations to deliver Speech Pathology services and promote the importance of early intervention.
The successful candidate will be well supported within a small team of allied health professionals. The team currently has a Physiotherapist, Dietitian and Podiatrist.

Essential Criteria:
Clinical practice - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the assessment, intervention, evaluation of people with a variety of disabilities, social, emotional, developmental and behavioural difficulties
Communication/Team participation - Demonstrated effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills necessary for good working relationships and client care. The ability to function as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team is also essential
Work management - Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, and the ability to share knowledge and skills. The ability to work independently without close supervision, and being able to appropriately manage time and workload is essential.
Mandatory Requirements for this role:
Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology (4 year degree or 2 year masters)
Current member of Speech Pathology Australia
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Current First Aid & CPR
Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Criminal History Screening (Yellow Card)
Current Personal Indemnity Insurance
Desirable
Experience with planning, implementing and evaluating individual and small group programs
Experience with working with people with a disability
Experience with delivery of service within school/daycare settings
Experience with working with people with disabilities across a range of ages
