I have been avoiding this post for a little while now. We’ve been trying to ignore the reality that Jess will be finishing up at the front desk.
For those who don’t know Jess, she is one of those human beings who is truly special in her capacity to hold space for people while having a million things going on in her own life. Somehow, she manages it all.
Jess was the first receptionist we ever had. It all started one day while I was adjusting her. I asked if she had ever considered working at a front desk. She immediately said, “I’ve always wanted to do that!” and I replied, “Great, when can you start?”
Jess was truly one of the reasons we were able to expand from the old office into the new one. She helped make that possible, so the fact that the time has come to wish her all the best is a little hard to comprehend.
The busyness of life, family and new work opportunities was always going to be a lot to compete with. Jess is one of the most capable humans I have ever met, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
When you get Google reviews for a chiropractic appointment that mention Jess, you know something must be right. When people book on days Jess is working just so they can see her, that’s pretty special.
For us, we don’t really have to say goodbye because she’ll still be coming in to get adjusted. But I know that, for many of you, it might be harder to run into her. If you’d like to say goodbye, her last day will officially be 6 November, and luckily, she’ll be spending the whole day with us.
We love you Jess, and we’re so appreciative that you came into our world.
