In case you missed it! After years of advocation, surveys and discussion PCOS has been renamed PMOS — from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome to Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome.

While this name change won’t change how we treat irregular cycle, metabolic dysfunction or hormonal imbalance from a Chinese Medicine perspective, hopefully it is a step in the right direction towards a more accurate and compassionate understanding of menstrual health as a whole.
