The Timed T Drill is a reliable assessment of multidirectional movement, measuring acceleration, deceleration, lateral shuffling and change of direction performance. Here we are using timing gates.

More than just a time, it provides insight into movement quality, asymmetries and return to sport readiness when paired with technical observation.

Coaching cues:
• Stay low and own your deceleration
• Shuffle, don’t cross your feet
• Push explosively out of every change of direction
• Keep your centre of mass under control

LSI (90%)

Clearing athletes at 90% symmetry? You might be passing two weak legs.

LSI compares your legs to each other. If both detrained, you pass while still being unfit for sport.

Capacity beats symmetry. Here’s what to test.

0-20 metres. Timed. Nowhere to hide using timing gates. They do exact splits.
Why we run it:
- Maps the whole curve. 0-5, 0-10, 0-20 shows where they build speed and where they leak it, not just a single time.
- Benchmarks properly. Against the squad, against their own best, in numbers you can actually trust.
- Tracks the block. Run it start and end and see if the training moved anything.
- Flags fatigue early. Times creeping up is neuromuscular fatigue waving before it becomes a soft-tissue bill.
- Exposes the gap. Strength, range and hop tests can all pass while sprint output quietly lags.
- The Gym is often safe exposure. 20m is controlled re-exposure before full flight.

Still resting your tendon? That’s why it’s not better.

It isn’t inflamed. It’s under-capacity, and offloading only drops it further.

The tendon needs load, dosed by how it feels the next morning.

Introductory Thoracic Rotation Extension and Rotation

With the forever growing sedentary state of the workspace and the increased prevelence of technology we are noticing it is becoming more and more common to be stiff through the thoracic spine.

It is super important to have good thoracic mobility to offload the shoulder and neck.

Here we can see a very basic mobility program used to help free up your mid back during the day or to help open up your back before your warmup for an upper body session. It includes:
- Thoracic Roller Extensions
- Open Book stretch
- 1/2 kneeling Banded rotation
- Dowel prayer stretch
