Today our team spent the day at Ronald McDonald House Orange for our team development day, taking part in their Dinner in a Dash program 🧡

We had the privilege of preparing fresh meals for the families staying at the house. Families who are navigating some of the most challenging times of their lives while their children receive medical care in Orange.

This program is so important. It takes one thing off a family’s plate (literally), giving them more time, energy and space to focus on what matters most, their child. For many, it provides comfort, normality and a sense of being cared for during incredibly stressful periods.

With Forbes being the second highest LGA using this service (behind Parkes), it made today feel even more meaningful for our team. These are our families, our community 🧡

Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a home away from home for families with sick or injured children, as well as support for some expecting mothers needing medical care, something truly invaluable for regional communities like ours.

Grateful to give back in a small way to such an incredible service 🫶

APRIL WISHLIST
If you are in a position to help, here is our most needed items for our House in Orange and Hospital Program in Dubbo with Bathurst Hospital commencing in early 2026.

We support families with ill and injured children when they need it most. Families stay with us for free at Ronald McDonald House Central West in Orange, within walking distance to Orange Health Service.

Ronald McDonald House Central West also provides support for families at the bedside of their child or infant in the Paediatric Ward and Special Care Nursery in Dubbo Hospital, and our Bathurst Hospital program will launch soon.

All items must be new and unopened to help us support families with ill and injured children receiving treatment in hospital

We’ve been supporting Red Bend Junior Rugby League Club with pre-season baseline testing, this way if an injury happens, we’ve got a clear starting point to guide safe recovery and return to play.
