POSITION VACANT: Housekeeping Staff, Manor - Part Time (four mornings per week, 16.5 hours total)
Includes cleaning duties on Tuesday & Thursday mornings, and laundry duties on Friday & Saturday mornings.

The successful applicant will have a commitment to excellence, and an ability to work independently and within a team structure. Relevant experience in an Aged Care or Health Services setting will be highly regarded.

We are seeking someone who is aligned with the Village Baxter mission, vision and values, and who can demonstrate capacity to manage in a constantly changing environment. A willingness to uphold safe work practices is essential.

We offer weekly pay and payday super as well as the capacity to boost take-home pay via salary packaging. We will be reviewing applications as they come in, so don't hesitate to apply if this role sounds like a great fit for you!

A member of the public with an "unusual" sense of humor has posted an Ai photo of a box of dirty false teeth as hard rubbish on a local Facebook noticeboard claiming it was from Village Baxter. I would like to reassure all of our Residents, Staff and families that this is not from our Village.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING MOONEY'S CAFE

1 June 2026

Dear Residents and Staff,
It is with great disappointment that we inform you that this morning, David Mooney notified Village Baxter of the immediate closure of Mooney’s Café.
David has shared that he will be transitioning to a new business model; for personal and family reasons.
The Mooney’s Meals service will continue to provide home delivery of meals to Village Residents; however, the meals will now be prepared in an alternative kitchen. David will be in contact with Residents who had pre-paid their meals or function bookings.
We will provide further information once we have had the opportunity to seek expressions of interest from new catering contractors.

Mooney's Cafe - Updated Hours
As of Monday, 1st June, Mooney’s Cafe will be closed on Mondays & Saturdays.
The new hours of operation will be: Tuesday to Friday & Sunday, 10am to 2pm.
To assist with catering and staffing, bookings and pre-orders are recommended and greatly appreciated. Bookings are essential for large groups.
